“Called for help with a sparking outlet 'cause I wasn't particularly interested in burning the house down this week. Well, they sent me an Angel. No, really. His name was Angel, though near as I can tell he didn't have wings nor a harp. Well, the sparking outlet got replaced, checked this thing and that thing, and all is now well, and Angel gave me an estimate for a couple other things I need to do in the future, and he even turned my subwoofer on, on account of it was off and wasn't making any sound. Now, it sounds just peachy keen like a good little subwoofer should.

“Mike is absolutely amazing. He far outshines the others when it comes to handling business, providing explanations, and competently completing the work. My ceiling fan had come loose again. I thought it would be under warranty because two of Mike’s coworkers fixed it before. Well, imagine my surprise to discover that the notes left didn’t really indicate that in full. Additionally, it ends up that the fan had a plastic type holder when it should have been metal. Honestly, if the other two people had told me that, I could have gotten it properly fixed the first time, but whatever.

Mike took one look at the fan and knew immediately what was wrong. Unfortunately because that was not fixed previously, it was not under warranty and I had to pay in full for Mike to replace properly. He also put up a new ceiling fan for me since I had already purchased it. The best part was that he was open, honest, respectful, and admitted that I should have been told about the plastic versus metal if the previous persons saw it (he was not here). Either way, I appreciated the effort to get everything fixed and working properly.

He also took a look at my electric panel and gave me some additional advice on how to prevent any issues. When I save up enough money, I’ll definitely contact this company and request Mike to come out to fix everything and anything electrical. As I told him, it is my first one having ceiling fans, so I was t aware of all the questions to ask or what to look for when someone is repairing. He took the time to explain everything and even showed me the plastic piece online and went in detail on why the fan will continue to fall due to the weight and incorrect item used to hold it in place.

That was above and beyond for me and it shows the tripe of person he is and the level of his professional experience. I also appreciated the fact that he didn’t try to pressure me in buying different plans or additional things like before. I am not a person who moves with high pressure. I am a thinker. The fact that he just gave me information and asked what I wanted to do and even offered options was a big plus in him winning me over and making me trust him rather than anyone else to handle any future needs. I have already decided to save up for a recommended maintenance repair.

I just need the invoice emailed to know how much. All in all, Mike truly surpassed all others and if you contact this company, ask for him to come out. You won’t be disappointed and you won’t be surprised later that something was left out of the discussion. Also, he won’t hard sell you, so that gives you a feeling of satisfaction and confidence in his skills, abilities, and leadership. It is respectful and understanding that some of us need to save up and then make a big purchase. He offered financing, but I am more of a pay cash if possible person.

“Carlos was through. Found issue in obscure place…a bad receptacle caused 1/3 of house to loose power. He replaced several and suggested it was time to refresh the whole system. Something to do in future. Will ask for CARLOS next time.”

“I searched for a local electrician to figure out my bathroom light situation that had been out for a few months and to check some plugs that hadnt worked for about a year. After quickly diagnosing that the bath light was a matter of wee issue behind the switch, they got it back in working order. He also looked at my ancient circuit breaker box, and gave me the bad news that it probably needed to be replaced in the near future, which was why some plugs probably werent working. Not a huge surprise, as the box is original to the condo complex, built in the late 70s/80s.

I’m just lucky I havent had many issues. So Mike talked through all my options for the box and emailed me the quote to review. He and his assistant were so helpful, flexible w the SoCalEdison planned power outtage schedule (didnt know if Edison was going to finish working by my appt time w Mike), and clear re charges. Will be using them again!”

“Was surprised at how soon this got scheduled. Electrician arrived early, but called first, gave me the estimate up front in detail before starting work, and was able to start immediately. They charge by the job, not by the hour, so no matter how long it takes, same price, no ups or extras. I had researched possible costs for this installation and their price was very reasonable for the three jobs I needed, plus they did things like replace light bulbs they noticed were burned out. Final work was very nice looking and what I needed.

They did a free safety inspection which uncovered things I mostly already knew about, but now I have a quote to work with if I ever want to take care of it. UPDATE: Carlos and David returned to install the charger once I had received it in the mail. Did a very nice, neat job of installing it. The charger did not come with a rack for hanging the cord on neatly so they created one out of their own supplies for me and installed it. End result looks very professional and neat, proud of my nice new EV charging station!”

“Had to quickly deal with the breaker for the heating and air that went kaput. As the breakers were original to the condo, (30+ years old), they were all coming to the end of their lifecycle. Thus I chose to update the entire panel. Due to an appt cancellation, Home Team were quick to get to my condo after I called. The electrician kept me updated on the issue, options, cost and time. They completed the panel update very quickly. While I wasn’t planning to have to update the panel that day, the price was in-line with going rates.

“Called Home Team Electric after a circuit breaker went out probably from overloading. This company had good reviews, so I hired them. Very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Fixed the problem immediately. I had other electrical issues and questions and they gave me a quote on fixing those along with a safety inspection. They were able to repair/update those issues, too, by 4PM. They suggested other electrical services and upgrades but did not pressure me. I did decline/defer the other suggestions. The job was thorough and the price within the market range.

“I could not be more impressed with Home Team Electric's ability to assist me over the weekend with a recently completed project, installation of a high voltage outlet for electric vehicle charging. Unfortunately the charger I purchased required the outlet to be rotated 180 degrees, which I was not able to do on my own without putting too much tension on the internal wiring. I reached a customer service agent immediately who was able to deploy Josh, the on-call electrician, to my home within an hour or so.

Josh was timely, friendly, and professional, and went above and beyond by even helping me out with mounting the charger near the outlet with his power tools while he was here. I'm very respectful of folks' time over the weekend and so appreciate Josh and Home Team Electric's ability to assist with this so I can charge my new EV. The project was not an inexpensive one, but I appreciate that I was not charged for the return visit and will use Home Team Electric for their great customer service, reliability, and expertise in the future!”
