About Home Team Electric
This is more than a company name. It's the people behind it. Frank Luersen grew up in this desert, the way his father Charlie and the generations before him did, and the way his own kids and grandkids are growing up now. He and Corrine started Home Team Electric in 2006, right here, in the place they already called home. When we say we're your neighbors, we mean it. Five generations of the Luersen family have called this desert home, and so has everyone on our team.
Who We Are

Home Team Electric is a residential-only electrical contractor. We made that choice in 2006 and we've never done it any other way. Every job, every electrician, every standard is built around one thing: the homes people actually live in across the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin. Desert homes are specific. The heat cycles, the panel ages, the electrical demands that come with running AC from May through October. An electrician who spends every day inside homes like yours gets very good at the things that matter most. That's what residential-only focus builds over 25,000 projects. The company holds California C-10 Electrical Contractor License #879507, verifiable through the CSLB. Our team includes certified residential specialists, electricians in training, and apprentices, and a certified electrician leads or oversees the work in your home. The team carries a 4.9 rating from over 16,000 homeowners across the internet.

Our Focus
Residential-only service work builds a specific kind of knowledge. Not just how electrical systems work, but how they age, how they fail, and what our desert conditions do to them over time.
We've worked inside Alexander tract homes in Palm Springs with original 1950s wiring. Mid-century construction in Rancho Mirage with Bryant panels that are long past their service life. Newer homes in La Quinta adding new circuits, EV charging, and increasing panel capacity all at once. Each housing era has its own patterns and wiring methods, and an electrician who works exclusively in homes knows the wiring methods of the era and sees those patterns every day.
That's what residential-only focus produces over 25,000 projects: a team that already knows what's likely inside your walls before the evaluation begins. Our team includes certified residential specialists, electricians in training, and apprentices, and a certified electrician leads or oversees the work in your home. That standard is built on real field experience, formal testing, and ongoing weekly hands-on development in our own training room. Electrical code changes and the demands inside desert homes change with them. We stay ahead of both.
How We Think About Our Work
One belief has guided every decision since 2006: when everyone is taken care of, the work takes care of itself. That means you, the people doing the work, and the community we all share. These are three commitments we're glad to be held to.
You get a straight explanation of what we see, what it means for your home, and what your options are. No pressure, and never a recommendation without a clear reason behind it. You decide what happens in your home, every time. That's been our standard since the very first job, and it always will be.
A standard is only as strong as the people carrying it. Every electrician who represents Home Team Electric is trained in our own training room every week, and our lead electricians are certified residential specialists. When someone from our team steps inside your home, you're not just trusting an electrician with your electrical system. You're trusting that person inside your home. We take that seriously, and so does every person on this team.
Five generations of the Luersen family grew up in this desert. Everyone on our team lives here, and most of us grew up here and are raising our own families here too. So the people we serve were never just customers to us. They're our neighbors, and that means everything to us.
Our Team
Joining Home Team Electric isn't automatic. Technical skill matters. Professionalism matters. The way someone treats people inside their home matters too. Before anyone carries the Home Team Electric name, all three standards have to be met.
The people on this team answer the phone, run the schedule, arrive at the door, and keep everything behind the scenes running the way it should. Some have been doing this work alongside Frank since the beginning. Others are newer to the team and earning their place job by job. Together, they're the people responsible for every Home Team Electric experience, in your home, in this community, every day.

Meet the Founders
Building Together Since the Beginning
Frank and Corrine Luersen met in 1991 as teenagers in the desert, and they have been building together ever since. A marriage, five kids, three grandchildren, and a family-owned and operated company rooted in the same community where they grew up. Home Team Electric did not start as a business plan. It started as two people deciding to build a good life right here, and a family working hard to realize a dream.
Frank grew up in the electrical trade. His father, Charlie, spent his career serving homeowners in this community, and Frank grew up watching that work before he ever picked up a tool. What stuck with him was the responsibility that came with it: a home made safer, work done honestly, a homeowner able to trust the person standing in their living room. When he started Home Team Electric in 2006, the goal was never to build the biggest company in the area. It was to build a residential-only company homeowners could trust, in the community where his family had lived for generations.
Corrine built right alongside him, in her own way. The same year Frank founded the company, she opened Little Learners Day Care in their home, so their kids didn't miss out, so other families in the Morongo Basin had the same care, and so the family had steady ground while Frank built the business. Little Learners grew into a well-respected daycare. Her daycare and his electrical company, run from the same kitchen table, built side by side.
By 2009, three years in, Home Team Electric was able to stand on its own. That was the moment they had worked toward, so Corrine closed the daycare to give her full focus to their kids. Today she is Frank's most trusted counsel and a steady force that helps hold everything together. Her favorite titles are still Mom and Grandma.
Frank and Corrine did not build Home Team Electric here because it made business sense. They built it here because it is home, and home is the thing they have always put first. Five generations of the Luersen family have called this desert home. Frank set the standard the company is built on. Corrine helped build everything around it.

Where We Serve
Home Team Electric serves the Coachella Valley in Riverside County and the Morongo Basin in San Bernardino County. Residential work only, in every city listed here, since 2006. These are the communities the Luersen family grew up in, where the team lives today, and where 25,000+ completed projects have been done to the same standard. Palm Springs to Yucca Valley. Every neighborhood. One company.
California C-10 Electrical Contractor License #879507
Since 2006 in the Same Community
We work across the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin, from Palm Springs to Yucca Valley, and the standard doesn't change with the address. The same guarantees, the same certified electricians, the same company that has completed 25,000+ residential projects in these communities since 2006. If your city is on this map, we're your neighbors.
Your Protection
Inviting an electrician into your home takes trust. So Home Team Electric backs that trust with something real, on every job we complete.

Since 2006 in the Same Community
In a community this size, reputation travels fast and stays a long time. The electrician at your door today is the neighbor you'll see tomorrow, at the grocery store, at the farmers market, in line at the gas station. That's not a figure of speech. It's how this company has worked since 2006, one home at a time.
These are a few of the 16,000+ homeowners who rated this work, exactly as they wrote it. Names and details untouched, updated as new reviews come in.

“I can't say enough good things about Gio, Boni, and Angel. They spent the entire day at my home replacing every electrical outlet, and their professionalism, skill, and work ethic were outstanding from start to finish. What really impressed me was how thoughtful they were....”Read the full review
