Careers
We hire electricians and apprentices who take pride in one thing: residential electrical work across the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin. No commercial, no construction, just homes. We train our crew every week and build careers that last, the way we have since 2006.
Why People Stay

The tenure tells the story. Josh joined Home Team Electric in 2006 at seventeen and never left. Mike has been here over twelve years. All seven of the people our recruiter has brought on are still here. People do not stay that long at a shop that treats them like a number.
We invest in our crew. Every week there is classroom instruction and hands-on lab work, because a home wired in 1962 asks different questions than a new build carrying solar and a Level 2 EV charger. One of our electricians is often in the training room before the rest of the team arrives, study books out, working toward master electrician. Nobody told him to. That is the culture here.
And we back each other up. On the hardest jobs and the longest days, nobody is left on an island. That is what keeps people here for years, not months.
Why Work Here
Joining Home Team Electric is not automatic. Technical skill matters. Professionalism matters. The way you treat people inside their home matters too. For the people who clear that bar, we built a shop where the work, the pay, and the training all respect the trade.
Skilled work is worth real money. We match the rate to your license and experience, talk exact numbers in the first conversation, and put the offer in writing before you say yes.
Classroom instruction and hands-on lab work, every single week. Electrical code changes. The demands inside desert homes change. Your training keeps pace with both.
One trade, one focus, since 2006. Desert homes never stop needing power, so the work does not run out. That is stability you can plan a life around.
Company vehicle, tools, and technology provided. You bring the craft. The equipment is handled.
Scheduling that lets you plan your week and keep your time off yours. The job should support your family, not compete with it.
We back each other up. When a job needs a second set of eyes, that call gets answered. Doing right by homeowners is the standard.

From the Founder
The belief Frank built this company on: when everyone is taken care of, the work takes care of itself. The homeowner. The people doing the work. The community they all share. It has guided every decision since 2006.

Send your resume and a brief note about your experience. Every application gets read by a person, not a filter. If it looks like a fit, you will talk with our recruiter and spend a full day riding along with the field team in a Home Team uniform, seeing firsthand how this crew takes care of homeowners. By that point, both sides usually know.
