There's no charge to come back on a warranty call. We repair workmanship failures at no cost to you. If a part or material we provided failed, we replace it at no charge. And if it turns out to be something unrelated to work we've done, we'll show you exactly what we see and walk you through your options. You decide from there.

Do you charge to come out?
Yes, and the price won't surprise you. A service call is $99, or $289 for after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergencies. Our prices are set in advance and the same for everyone, so the electrician isn't making up a number on the spot. We never bill by the hour. They pin down exactly what's going on, then give you a clear price before any work begins.
My breakers keep tripping. What usually causes that?
A breaker trips to protect your home, so when it keeps happening, it's telling you the system needs attention. In desert homes, we often see it come down to an aging Zinsco panel or a Square D Homeline AFCI (fire prevention) breaker near the end of its service life. The only way to know for sure is to evaluate the situation and get to the root cause. Once we know what's going on, we can explain your options and what each one solves.
Can my panel handle a Level 2 EV charger?
It depends on your panel's capacity. Some homes are ready as-is. Others need a panel upgrade or a load-shedding system to carry the added load. We look at what your panel can handle, walk you through each path in plain language, and you decide what fits your home.
Are your electricians licensed?
Home Team Electric operates under California C-10 Electrical Contractor License #879507, and every job is performed under that license. Our team includes certified residential specialists, electricians in training, and apprentices, and a certified electrician leads or oversees the work in your home. Every person who comes to your door is drug tested, background checked, and professionally trained. That's how the trade is meant to work, and it's how we train the next generation of electricians the right way.
How fast can you come out?
Same-day service available. Call and tell us what's happening, and we'll let you know right then when an electrician can be at your door.
If it's an emergency, that's a separate lane. We answer the phone 24 hours a day and we're on call around the clock. After-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency service is $289.
What happens to my coverage if I sell the home?
It goes with the house. The Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee and the 3-Year Warranty stay with the home, so the next owner is covered on the work we did, with nothing to file and no window to meet.
The 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is the one exception. It's tied to a specific job and the person who bought it, so a new owner gets it on their own first job with us rather than inheriting it.
