How You Can Help Us:

Home Team Electric is looking to hire certified electricians, non-certified experienced electricians, trainees, and apprentices, to work closely with, and become a part of, our team to complete quality, code compliant installations. You will soak it up like a sponge as our experienced electrical technicians’ and team members mentor and train you on everything there is to know about the home electrical services industry.

Certified Electrician

Home Team Electric was founded on the principles of Quality, Family, and Integrity. We are ready to meet any home electrical needs. We mean it when we say we strive to be the BEST Desert Electricians! Our Certified Electricians average about 43 hours a week making 75-125K a year.

Job Description:

  • Diagnose and repair residential electrical applications in accordance with the State of California Building Codes.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all electrical codes.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving, and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics.
  • Willingness to learn our system.

Qualifications:

  • State Certification with the California Department of Licensing & Regulation
  • 1 year minimum of residential electrical experience
  • Clean driving record and current valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
  • Work well in team environment
  • A can-do attitude and desire to learn

Experienced Electrician

Besides enjoying your interactions with your fellow team members, you will spend time taking classes to continually expand your knowledge and skillset. Being part of our apprenticeship program is exciting and you will be able to advance into a stable and well-paid career as an electrician. Home Team Electric will pay for your required education and provide all of your required tools. You will truly “Learn while you earn”.

Customer Care Representative (CCR)

Home Team Electric was founded on the principles of Quality, Family, and Integrity. We are ready to meet any homes electrical needs. We mean it when we say we strive to be the BEST Desert Electricians! We are looking for the perfect first impression specialist to help make that happen.

Job description:

The CCR supports the day-to-day operations of the company and is the primary point of contact for customers. As the first impression specialist, the CCR answers the phone, obtains customer information, books calls, and addresses customer concerns. If an issue arises, the CCR will work diligently to solve the problem, to the customers satisfaction. As part of this responsibility, the CCR will develop and manage reports, and interact with lead dispatcher and field personnel to schedule calls efficiently. A successful CCR must have the ability to function as part of a team and be able to think creatively and critically.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a professional and technical level
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint
  • Must be a critical thinker – Strong English composition skills
  • Telephone etiquette and working knowledge of email systems
  • Ability to develop tools that create efficiencies within department
  • Bilingual a plus, not required
